The Argentine government is preparing to face a general strike on Tuesday that, driven by transport unions, paralyzed for 24 hours train services, buses and airplanes, to protest the income tax applied to wages.
The strike was called by the unions grouped together in the Argentina Federation of Transport Workers seeking "make clear" the government "has to sit at a table for talks," said the head of the Urban Transport Workers Union (UTA, for its acronym in Sapnish), Roberto Fernández.
