Most French people believe the high unemployment rate will be persistent in the country during the next two years that President Hollande still has in office, an opinion poll showed.

When asked about the drop in unemployment promised by president Hollande during his electoral campaign, 75 percent of those interviewed said it would not decrease steadily before ending his term in 2017, showed the survey conducted by the Odoxa Institute.
